Wargame Airland Battle teaser
The sequel to Wargame: European Escalation has been introduced with this first teaser, showcasing ingame alpha footage of rather impressive quality. Wargame: Airland Battle brings you, like its predecessor, back to the time of 1975-1985 where the Cold War has erupted into a full blown conflict between Nato and the Warsaw Pact members. The conflict is set all over Scandinavia with, from what we can tell now, faithfully designed and implemented landscapes that look quite decent for a strategy title. Apropos title, you just might be getting the hint; Airland Battle will feature a great number of aircraft, 150 in total, ranging from simple fighter to bombers and special purpose planes like electronic warfare planes. Of course, tanks and other machines of war will also be in use in this sequel, and the total number of vehicles and units in the game is just over 750!
Wargame: Airland Battle is announced for yet unspecified quarter of 2013.
