Paradox announces new expansions and games
Pardaox’s CEO Fredrik Wester revealed a lot of goodies for the fans of our northern publisher on the first opening day of the Paradox convention.
In short, there are some very nice news about yet another Crusader Kings 2 expansion (since we can’t get enough of those, ever) named The Old Gods. The Old Gods will focus on Vikings and Pagans, just what the CK2 was missing so far. There is also an expansion for VIctoria 2: The Heart of Darkness that will bring to players an exciting African campaign.
Other than that, but by no means less important, are the announcements of Leviathan Warships (hey, the bigger, the better, right?), a strategy game focused on, well, warships. There also the news news that The Showdown Effect has gone into beta, and we are definitely looking forward to giving that one a try as soon as possible. You can check out their website and the latest trailer here. Also, there are news about the next DLC for War of Roses. We will know more about what it entails soon, we hope, but so far we’ve been revealed that there will be some powerful voice acting from Brian Blessed. Yarrrrr, Flash Gordon ahead and all that jazz.
