EVE is a formidable, cruel and a wonderful game, all at once, just as the “real life” can be. Tis a man’s world out there, baby, where dog eats dog. Which is a shame, really. I would love to see more girls playing EVE and clean up with the dog-eating-dog myth.
For the excellent state of EVE Online we got two groups to thank; first would be, of course, the CCP developer team, and the second would be the passionate fans that managed to yank the very same team out of lethargy they would occasionally slip into, a scary state of mind that caused them to care less for the game and disregard player’s wishes. However, it must be said, CCP is on top of their game in the past year, their performance is top notch and useful patches continue to pour in. Nothing game shattering, but a steady stream of improvements (how did we ever manage without the current item/cargo system!?!) that constantly makes the game better and more streamlined. This winter, there will be balancing changes to 16 ships, check out the official EVE dev blog for more info and make sure you dress up warm for the kewl EVE stuff coming our way.
